Employment Opportunities with the Hawaii State House of Representatives

from Hawaii Legislature, October, 2022

Have you ever been interested in learning the inner workings of State Government? Do you want to help make your State a better place to live and work? Would you like to assist your neighbors when they have questions or concerns and help guide them in resolving issues?

Then there may be a place in the House of Representatives for you.

The Legislature is a fast-paced environment filled with many important deadlines, daily hearings, and long hours. Professionalism is a must, working closely with government officials, business leaders and the public. Working for the House requires a lot of energy and the drive to get the job done and serve the public well.

As a condition of employment with the House of Representatives, all qualified candidates who have been given a conditional offer of employment must show proof of full COVID-19 vaccination and shall be fully vaccinated by the individual's employment start date. A reasonable accommodation will be provided if requested by a candidate and it is determined through an interactive process that pregnancy, a qualifying disability, or a sincerely held religious belief prevents the candidate from receiving a COVID-19 vaccination.

Check out our current job opportunities in the sidebar to the right. See below for more information about working in the House.
