The 35th annual Smart Business Hawaii (SBH) Business and Investment conference will be held Wednesday, January 12, 2011 at Honolulu’s Ala Moana Hotel from 7am to 2pm.

The theme for our conference is “Small Business 2011: Recapturing Hawaii’s Business Opportunities.”  Our very special keynote speaker will be best-selling author and popular radio talk show host Michael Medved.

Invited speakers also include: Mayor Peter Carlisle, new State Senate President Shan Tsutsui, successful business leaders Marcus Bender (Kai Vodka), Debi Halcro (Valenti Print Group), James Kerr (Super Geeks), and baseball legend Sid Fernandez.

There will also be a special “Media and Business” panel featuring famed investigative reporter Matt Levi, Jason Stverak of the Franklin Center for Government & Public Integrity, and Hawaii reporter columnists Jim Dooley, Greg Wiles and Malia Zimmerman.
