Mike Molina Endorses Alan Arakawa for Mayor

It was announced today that Maui County Council Member Mike Molina will support former Mayor Alan Arakawa in his bid to become the next mayor of the County of Maui.
"I have thought long and hard over the past few months, and I'm proud to say that I am officially endorsing Alan Arakawa for Mayor," said Molina. Molina said that his decision to endorse Arakawa comes after evaluating his experience working with Tavares and Arakawa while both mayoral candidates served on the County Council and as mayor.
"This election is about our future. Especially during these challenging economic times, we need a leader to be able to make the tough decisions to be able to move forward, and I believe that Alan is the right choice," Molina said.
Arakawa commented, “I am so very humbled to have earned the endorsement of Council Member Mike Molina, a dedicated and respected public servant. It is truly an honor to have his support."
Molina's endorsement follows Arakawa receiving an endorsement by former mayoral candidates Sol Kahoohalahala & Randy Piltz.
