My OHA Recommendations

by Sam King, Imua TMT, September 22, 2020

Aloha! Here are my OHA recommendations:

At-Large: Kelii Akina
Hawaii Island: Keola Lindsey
Molokai: Luana Alapa

EVERYONE CAN VOTE IN EVERY OHA RACE

As you can see on the Office of Elections handy "Sample Ballot" generator, you can vote in every OHA race!

Ballots are getting mailed out as early as October 6!

KELII AKINA is the most important person to vote for and donate to in the OHA race.  If you only can donate $5 to a single OHA candidate, donate it to AKINA.  AKINA is running for the only At-Large seat open and the proponents and beneficiaries of the corruption and ineptitude at OHA are gunning for AKINA BIG TIME.

You can donate to AKINA here:

Not only does AKINA support the Thirty Meter Telescope, which is the most important issue in the OHA race this year, he is also taking on the corruption and ineptitude at OHA head on.  He is doing more for the Hawaiian community than any trustee at OHA and he absolutely must be re-elected for the good of our state.

For the Hawaii Island seat, I recommend voting for KEOLA LINDSEY

Lindsey is running for the Hawaii Island seat being vacated by his uncle, Robert Lindsey.  Lindsey is neutral on TMT, but that is much better than his opponent, who opposes the project and the brighter future it offers Hawaii's keiki.

For the Molokai seat, I recommend voting for LUANA ALAPA.

ALAPA is also neutral on TMT, but her opponents are opposed, so she is the best choice.

YOU CAN VOTE IN EVERY OHA RACE.

And you should.  You don't have to be Native Hawaiian to support the Native Hawaiians.  Moreover, there is ONE major issue at play in the OHA race, and that is the THIRTY METER TELESCOPE.

Mahalo and aloha!  Imua TMT!
