FORMER CONGRESSWOMAN PAT SAIKI ENDORSES LYNN FINNEGAN IN HER RACE FOR LT. GOVERNOR

HONOLULU - In her campaign for Lt. Governor of Hawai‘i, Lynn Finnegan today announced the backing of former Congresswoman Pat Saiki, whose leadership and service in Congress is a highlight for the Hawai‘i Republican Party.

“Having served in the U.S. Congress, I've seen the need for balanced leadership in government, at every level. Lynn Finnegan is an experienced, tested leader with 8 years of the State Legislature under her belt,” said former Congresswoman Saiki.  “Her valuable perspective from inside the House Chambers as the House Minority Leader will be a tremendous help to Duke Aiona as the Aiona-Finnegan team works to lead our state into the future. Lynn Finnegan has my full backing in her bid for Lt. Governor of the State of Hawai‘i.”

As current Minority Leader in the state House of Representatives, Lynn Finnegan has tremendous respect and appreciation for the former Congresswoman.

“Having Congresswoman Saiki’s vote of confidence is especially significant as I pursue the support of the people of Hawai‘i to serve as their Lt. Governor,” said Lynn Finnegan.  “The Republican Party has been important in my own political life, and I trust her endorsement will resonate with voters in the Primary Election on September 18. I have the utmost respect for Congresswoman Saiki, and I am very honored to have her unwavering support in this important election.”
