As 2009 came to a close, everything was exactly as it should be in the world of Hawaii Internet news.

HawaiiFreePressDailyTrafficDec2009

As these www.Alexa.com charts show, readership of www.HawaiiFreePress.com on December 30 and 31 soared past all other Hawaii news sites, approaching 5,000th on the list of most read sites worldwide.

HawaiiFreePressDailyReachDec2009

Readership on December 31 was nearly 0.04% of all worldwide Internet users for that day.

This happened because we at Hawai`i Free Press dedicate ourselves to telling Hawaii's untold stories.  At the end of December, one of our stories appeared on the Drudge Report and sent our hit count through the roof.

Not every day is yet as it should be, but you can be part of changing that by adding your name to our growing email list at this link >>> EMAIL LIST  ... and by forwarding Hawai`i Free Press to other readers.

You can also help by following us on Twitter  >>>  http://twitter.com/HawaiiFreePress

Hawai`i Free Press now has over 5,000 Hawaii email subscribers and an additional 2,700 followers--mostly from Hawaii--on Twitter.  We intend to raise that to a combined total over 30,000 Hawaii readers--2.5% of Hawaii's population--by the end of 2010.  That critical mass will put Hawaii's untold stories in front of enough readers to render the existing system of Hawaii media self-censorship ineffective.
