Duke Aiona Launches New Campaign Website
By News Release @ 1:51 PM :: 6476 Views :: Energy, Environment

HONOLULU - Lt. Governor Duke Aiona today launched the centerpiece of his new media campaign that will help him connect and interact with voters on important local issues online.

The new http://www.DukeAiona.com campaign website features several innovative features such as an interactive information graphic on Duke's vision for Hawai‘i's future, a blog with comments enabled, and several interactive forms that can help supporters elect Duke Aiona as our next Governor.

Website visitors can also join Duke Mobile, a first-of-its-kind program in Hawai‘i that allows supporters to connect with the campaign through their mobile phones. They can get the latest text message updates, initiate peer-to-peer calling, plug-in to local events and more.

"This is only the beginning," said Lt. Governor Duke Aiona. "Our new media campaign will continue to push the envelope and empower our grassroots supporters to get involved and make a difference in ways that have never been done before."

The new website also features a petition to help Hawai‘i generate more of its own clean energy, and supporters can voice their opinion on a survey of the "State of Our State."
