Hawaii Supreme Court to hear arguments on release of evidence in Dana Ireland murder case
KITV: … The Hawaii Supreme Court has scheduled a hearing in Honolulu to hear oral arguments from the Hawaii Police Department and attorneys from the Schweitzer brothers on September 12.
This comes after HPD appealed the Third Circuit Court's ruling to release evidence in the Albert Lauro investigation.
HPD claimed this would interfere with the murder investigation of Ireland.
The Schweitzer brothers spent more than 20 years combined in prison for Ireland's murder, but were later exonerated. They now fight for an official declaration of innocence….
