After five days and nearly 57 hours of testimony, the House Judiciary and Finance Committees passed SB1 HD1....

The full House will vote on Second Reading Wednesday November 6, 2013 at 10AM.  Third reading is expected on Friday November 8, 2013....

Tonight at 6:00 p.m. the full House has scheduled a 2nd reading on the bill....

I say never give up the fight as there are always other options we can take in order to uphold values that we so cherish....

...a European homosexual publication, Pink News UK, is reporting on changes in procedure designed to shut down the thousands of Hawaii citizens seeking to testify....

The hearing will resume on Monday, November 4, at 11:00 a.m. in the Capitol Auditorium....

At 9AM the committee will resume hearing testimony in numerical order through the end of the list (number 5,181). After that, testifiers who missed their first chance to testify will have another opportunity to do so....

...every registered testifier will have an opportunity to speak by the hearing's end, even if they were not present at the time their number was initially called....

Thank goodness for the cogent and thoughtful questions being asked, both pro and con, by members of the House Judiciary and Finance Committees....

There must always be people present to continue the "People's Filibuster", otherwise they will close the hearing....

Representative Bob McDermott filed a lawsuit today seeking a Declaratory Judgment regarding the 1998 ballot issue pertaining to same-sex marriage....

At noon, Senator Hee announced that if anyone was not present in the next 15 minutes to sign up to testify, they would not be heard....

We estimate that 10 thousand people were at the capitol yesterday to oppose Senate action.  In addition, rallies were held on Maui, the Big Island, Hilo and Kona....

...same-sex marriage is still not a ‘done deal’ in the state house....
