The Hawaii State Legislature has adjourned for the year. Once again, no restrictive firearms bills passed....

On Thursday, May 1, the Hawaii Legislature adjourned its 2014 regular session....

Since the decision a lot of people have been asking what is going on. Well, let’s try and break this down a little bit....

A record total of 22,765 personal/private firearm permit applications were processed statewide during 2013....

...as amended by the Senate Water and Land Committee, it has now been stripped of its purpose and instead only creates a hunting advisory council....

The case is Baker v. Kealoha (9th Cir. Mar. 20, 2014) ....

HB 1902, introduced by state Representative Cindy Evans (D-7), would integrate a no net loss policy for public hunting lands in Hawaii....

This Wednesday, January 29, the House Committee on Water and Land is scheduled to hear several important hunting bills....

...the facility will reopen at 8 a.m. tomorrow, Saturday, January 25....
