Matte Kibbe of FreedomWorks here on Maui!!

News Release from TEA Party Maui

TEA Party Maui is pleased to announce the guest appearance of Matt Kibbe at our Special meeting on Saturday, April 13th, 2013 at 1:30 PM. The meeting will be held in the Fellowship Hall at Grace Church, 55 Maka'ena Place in Makawao, right off Kula Highway across from King Kekaulike High School.  Click here for map to Grace Church!

Matt Kibbe is the President and CEO of FreedomWorks. He has been with the organization for over 15 years. An economist by training, Kibbe is a well-respected national public policy expert, bestselling author and political commentator. He also serves as Distinguished Senior Fellow at the Austrian Economic Center in Vienna, Austria.

Newsweek has called Kibbe "one of the masterminds" of Tea Party politics, expertise which has led to frequent appearances on national news shows including FOX News, NBC, ABC News, CNN, MSNBC, FOX Business, PBS, and CSPAN.

In 2012 Kibbe authored Hostile Takeover: Resisting Centralized Government's Stranglehold on America, revealing how the centralized bureaucracy of government is eroding our hard-fought freedoms and how the Tea Party movement can return America to the decentralized vision of our Founders.

Founded in 1984, FreedomWorks is headquartered in Washington, DC, and has hundreds of thousands of grassroots volunteers nationwide.

FreedomWorks recruits, educates, trains and mobilizes millions of volunteer activists to fight for less government, lower taxes, and more freedom. FreedomWorks believes individual liberty and the freedom to compete increases consumer choices and provides individuals with the greatest control over what they own and earn.

Despite the short notice, this is a must-attend event for the opportunity to hear from one of the TEA Party's acknowledged national leaders. Tell everyone you know, and please come join us for what promises to be an informative get-together.
