FrackNation TV Debut: Debunks Anti-Natural Gas Hysteria

From FrackNation  January 21, 2013

Well, the wait will soon be over.

We wanted to write to thank for your support and to remind you that FrackNation is having its television premiere tomorrow—Tuesday, January 22 at 9 p.m. Eastern (4PM HST) on Mark Cuban's AXS TV.

(AXS TV is available on Hawaii TV Providers: DIRECTV Channel #340 and DISH Network Channel #362)

We think you will really enjoy it. We hope you can join us in watching Phelim travel across America combating threats, malicious 911 calls and bogus lawsuits just for trying to ask inconvenient questions.

We also wanted to tell you about our new website and your chance to order the DVD.

Additionally we wanted to share this funny but sad video of Phelim trying to get some sense out of celebrities who are visiting "victims" of fracking in Dimock, PA. Watch as Susan Sarandon, Yoko Ono and Sean Lennon seem to prefer false allegations to scientific study.

Our New York world premiere was so crowded that we were the first directors who had to stand at their own premiere.

People traveled from far and wide to see FrackNation. We had a brief Q&A after the film and then the serious Q&A at the after party.

Then it was off to LA for a completely packed house. There was a standing ovation with everyone retiring to nearby Barney's Banery for a premiere after party.

The next day history was truly made with The New York Times delivering a positive review for FrackNation!

Then there was more good news with VarietyMovies.com, National Review, New York Post, and Big Hollywood.

Of course some parts of Hollywood were very sniffy about the documentary.

And so the anti-fracking activists are trying to have us censored. They are trying to force YouTube to remove one of the FrackNation ads that shows how one family's ludicrous claims about their water turned out to be just plain false—and their hilarious reaction to this “good” news.

We plan to fight this attempt at censorship and get the truth out there.

And we've just launched a new TV spot that offers a peak into what Phelim has to go through to get to the fracking truth. Please watch and share it with friends!

Our new TV and radio ads have been getting a lot of attention. The "Meet Josh Fox" ad might make you angry, but we think this radio ad will make you laugh. Please have a listen!

Finally FrackNation has been in the media a lot! The film got excellent reviews in Red State and Hot Air. There was also coverage of Phelim's celebrity encounter in Dimock by The Guardian and Huffington Post and interviews with Montana RadioSarahNET RadioBig Hollywood and Fox Business!

So we hope you get to watch on Tuesday. We are so excited that America will finally get to see the truth about fracking.

UPDATE: If you weren't able to see the premiere or would like to watch the film again, AXS TV will re-broadcast FrackNation:

  • Saturday, February 2 at 2:30 p.m. Eastern (9:30 a.m. Hawaii Time)
  • Wednesday, February 6 at 12 a.m. Eastern (7 p.m. Hawaii Time)
