Dear Friend,
You have heard by now that I lost my election for the U.S. Senate, but it wasn’t because of a lack of commitment from supporters such as you.
I could not have asked for more generous donors, and more than 7,000 people contributed to our campaign. I will be forever grateful for your confidence and support in what we knew would be a tough race.
Many of you have been asking what I plan to do next and how we can stay in touch. Because I focused all of my attention on the campaign, I haven’t thought about what I might do next, but I do hope we can stay in touch.
