Hawaii Republican Party Chairman David Chang's Statement on the 2nd Presidential Debate
News Release from www.GOPHawaii.com
Honolulu, Hawaii - Hawaii Republican Party Chairman David Chang issued the following statement regarding the 2nd Presidential debate held tonight at Hofstra University in Long Island, New York:
"In tonight's 2nd Presidential debate, Governor Romney demonstrated once again why he is the clear choice to lead our nation. He continued to show that he has a strong command of the issues that Americans face. Governor Romney, in a repeat performance, was steady, concise and presidential. While President Obama showed much more energy than in the last debate, he continued to trot out the same tired excuses for his failed policies that have hurt America for the last four years."
"Tonight's town-hall format made for a very feisty debate. We were given an opportunity to see Governor Romney 'take his gloves off'. Not only did Romney successfully present his plans for America's recovery, he did not back down. Governor Romney showed the true fighting spirit we need in our next President."
"Exactly three weeks from today, Hawaii voters will have a chance to cast their ballots for a Commander in Chief who will bring order to our fiscal house and strengthen America. We simply cannot afford another four years like the last. Governor Romney, without a doubt, offers a brighter path to a stronger America."
