Hirono Suggests Inouye not Effective

VIDEO: Setting the record straight

From www.Lingle2012.com

With only 46 days until the General Election, Governor Linda Lingle has continued her travels throughout the state to share her positive message of putting Hawaii's "people first."

Unfortunately, Mazie Hirono and her political operatives have been spending all their time attacking Governor Lingle instead of articulating her positions on the important issues facing our state and country.

Hirono's latest attack says that Senator Inouye will not be an effective Senator if Governor Linda Lingle is elected because the Senate majority may change hands.

What Hirono ignores is the fact that the Senate's majority has changed four times in the past 20 years. To suggest that Senator Inouye has been ineffective during the times his party is not in control is simply false and is offensive to our Hawaii senior Senator's hard work on behalf of our state.

As someone who has worked in Washington with Senator Inouye, and here at home with Governor Lingle, I felt compelled to set the record straight, which is why I released the following special video message:

For Hirono to build her entire campaign on the coattails of Senator Inouye and President Obama underscores her lack of depth as a candidate for a promotion to higher office.

Friends, with this once-in-a-generation election we have a unique opportunity to elect an effective and tested leader who will always put Hawaii's "people first." Linda Lingle is the clear choice for Hawaii.

Please share this video with your friends and 'ohana to let them know you are supporting and voting for Linda Lingle.

Aloha,

Bob Lee
