Message to Duke Aiona 2010 Campaign Supporters:

Aloha Mai Kākou      July 18, 2012

Your support of me and my campaigns has been invaluable over the years and I'm writing to ask you to support my good friend, Linda Lingle, in her campaign for the U.S. Senate. I am supporting her campaign because I know her character and I know she is the right leader at the right time for Hawaii.

Issues of faith and family values are important to you, just as they are to Vivian and me. I can assure you that Linda Lingle will approach every issue with a genuine respect for both sides of the discussion.

I worked side-by-side, each and every day with Linda Lingle during our eight years as Governor and Lt. Governor of the State of Hawaii. I know first hand that her steady, effective leadership will be the difference that is needed in Washington, D.C. to end the gridlock that has stalled the progress of economic policies our nation so desperately needs.

And, tough decisions are required now in Washington. I have seen Linda Lingle make many tough decisions and know her heart was always with the people of Hawaii when she made those important calls.

Governor Lingle needs your help in this important election. Our family is supporting Linda Lingle 100%, and I urge you to consider doing the same. If you haven't done so already, please pledge your support for her by visiting the campaign website www.Lingle2012.com, by emailing her at lindalingle@lingle2012.com, or by calling her campaign headquarters at 777-8845.

Most importantly, you can help Linda Lingle by voting on the Republican ballot in the Saturday, August 11 Primary Election. To ensure if you are registered to vote, please call the campaign at 777-8845 and they can help you through the very simple process.

Mahalo nui loa for your kokua.

Aloha ke Akua,

Duke Aiona
