WEDNESDAY, APRIL 29, 2009. This is day 56 of the 60 day session legislature. FOUR more days until the end of session.
The proponents of HB444 are persistent and have PRESENTED A PETITION to Senator Taniguchi as well as continuing to pass out flyers door to door in Manoa, targeting Sen. Taniguchi. They are also doing sign waving in front of the capitol.
We cannot afford to be complacent and not respond. We must continue to run the race until the finish line is crossed!
Thank you for those who have visited the legislators and called or e-mailed them. Yes there is much to be thankful for but we are not at the finish line yet!!!

Please help us by getting signatures on the petition (attached here) and bring them to the prayer rally on Sunday. We will also be gathering signatures on Sunday. If you have not done so already, please click the link below to send an email to your Senator asking him/her to stand firm against pulling the bill from committee. Those of you who reside in Manoa, please encourage people to contact Senator Taniguchi and encourage him to remain firm in his commitment to leave the bill in committee.

Please continue to pray for and bless our Senators and Representatives during this time of great stress and challenges. Give them blessings and encouragement for standing strong against HB 444. They urgently need our prayers.
