A Note From the Editor:
It was a long day at Civil Beat with our site down for maintenance work. We're sorry you didn't get The Morning Beat yesterday morning. We were waiting to send it until the site was back up. Problem is — that took until late afternoon.
We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused and thank you for your patience. We expect that we will have to shut down once more for a brief period. But in the meantime, we're back with you.
I do hope you missed us. We hope this never happens again.
Mahalo,
John Temple
Editor & General Manager
It is not clear why a site set up by the founder of E-Bay would have such difficulties.
