Registration Begins for 2012-2013 Kindergarten and Junior K in February

Parents are encouraged to register their children for kindergarten or junior kindergarten for the 2012-2013 school year. Children who will be five years old on or before August 1, 2012, may enroll in regular kindergarten, while children who reach five years of age between August 2 and December 31 may enroll in junior kindergarten. Kindergarten is not mandatory in Hawaii.

All parents are encouraged to register their children for the full-day classes at their neighborhood schools during the dates below. Parents can call their District Office to determine which school their child should attend.
