The Hawai`i Island Chamber of Commerce, Japanese Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Hawaii, and Kanoelehua Industrial Area Association unite to support the passage of the Office of Mauna Kea Management’s (OMKM) Comprehensive Management Plan (CMP). We need the vocal majority to show that we support the plan! To show support we are:
- Sign waving near Kamehameha Statue at Hilo Bayfront on MONDAY APRIL 6th 4PM to 6PM. Wear black.
- Attending the BLNR hearing on WEDNESDAY APRIL 8th 9AM to 11AM at Hilo Hawaiian Hotel to be part of a unified, meaningful group of supporters. Everyone should wear black shirts to show our solidarity!
- Submitting written testimony one of four ways: before April 6th (1) by fax (808) 587-0390, Attn: Board Members or (2) e-mail: adaline.f.cummings@hawaii.gov or (3) get it to the HICC office by Tuesday April 7th at noon (and we will make the copies!) or (4) bring 12 copies with you to the hearing.
