From Hawaii Republicans for Life
Hawaii has some of the most liberal abortion laws in the nation. Our luncheon is designed to educate and motivate the general public so they may affect positive, pro-life change in Hawaii. Attendees meet pro-life elected officials, candidates, and friends from each pro-life group in Hawaii. Over the course of the next year the luncheon series will highlight each life issue: abortion, physician-assisted suicide, stem-cell research, and conscience rights. We will also explore the relationship of abortion to other hurtful practices in our state: prostitution, pornography, drug abuse, and human-trafficking. Proceeds go directly to pro-life candidates.
Guest Speaker: Former Lieutenant Governor of the State of Hawaii, James “Duke” Aiona currently serves as the Executive Vice President of Development and Recruitment at Saint Louis School. He served as a First Circuit Court Judge and Family Court Judge for 6 years, and was previously Deputy Prosecuting Attorney for the City and County of Honolulu. He is a Saint Louis High School graduate, received his B.S. in Pre-Law from the University of the Pacific, Stockton, California, and his J.D. from UH School of Law.
