By News Release @ 2:53 AM :: 5716 Views :: Energy, Environment

Message to Hawaii Republican Party Members 11-14-11

I am deeply humbled and honored to be elected as your Party Chairman. First, I want to thank Beth Fukumoto for her leadership as the State Chair during this transition period.

I believe the best days are ahead for the Hawaii Republican Party, and I am excited to work with you on the tasks before us. We all share the goal of strengthening our Party and working towards a viable two-party system in Hawaii that can balance our State government and help build a prosperous future for generations to come.

My goals include:

  • Strengthening our grassroots efforts;
  • Growing our membership and expanding our base;
  • Increasing the number of volunteers;
  • Recruiting strong candidates to run for office in 2012; and,
  • Improving our Party’s finances by working diligently to raise money.

Our current Republican elected officials provide tremendous leadership by presenting new ideas for moving Hawaii forward, and we need to elect more Republicans who value our platform principles.

The Hawaii Republican Party is counting on generous, much-needed contributions from individuals like you to support our many candidates and their grassroots organizations. Next year presents many opportunities for our candidates to triumph on Election Day, but to achieve our goal, I need your help to start 2012 on the right foot by donating $25, $50, $100 or $1,000 today.

I believe in fostering healthy dialogue in our Party and building an open and transparent government in Hawaii. I will reach out to our grassroots leaders and listen to their ideas on building a winning strategy for 2012 and how best to coordinate the Party’s resources. Please feel free to contact me at david@gophawaii.com with any questions or comments.

Together, we can propel our Party to new heights. I look forward to working with you!

Mahalo,

David S. Chang
