Why do we tell you to call Legislators?

We tell you to call your legislators.

We tell you to send emails.

And every time we do, someone says:

“It doesn’t work.”

Here’s the truth:

It does work.

If it didn’t, Hawaii would already have a near-total firearms ban.

The reason some bad bills stall, change, or quietly disappear is because lawmakers hear from you.

Phone calls matter.

Emails matter.

Testimony matters.

Silence is what doesn’t work.
