HPD Seeks Community Feedback to Enhance Public Safety Services
News Release from HPD, November 10, 2025
HONOLULU — The Honolulu Police Department (HPD) is inviting the public to participate in its annual community survey to share feedback on public safety services. The survey will run from Nov. 8 through Dec. 13, 2025.
The brief survey is designed to gather input from community members about their experiences with HPD and their perceptions of safety on Oʻahu. Responses will help guide the department’s ongoing efforts to strengthen community trust and improve the quality of service provided.
“Community feedback is invaluable to our operations,” Chief Rade Vanic said. “The department is always looking for ways we can better serve you — our community.”
The survey is open to all Oʻahu residents and can be completed online at the Honolulu Police Department 2025 Community Survey. All responses will be anonymous.
Results will be reviewed by department leadership and shared publicly to inform future planning and community engagement initiatives. A report with key findings will be released in late December.
