REP. TAM ISSUES STATEMENT REGARDING SUPREME COURT'S DECISION ON GENDER-AFFIRMING CARE

(REALITY: Hawaii Democrats remind us why they are more repulsive than Donald J Trump.)

News Release from Hawai'i House Democrats, June 18, 2025 (With reality-inducing comments in parenthesis.)

Honolulu, Hawaiʻi – Representative Adrian K. Tam (D-24, Waikīkī) issued the following statement today in response to the Supreme Court's decision upholding Tennessee's ban on gender-affirming care for minors.

"During a time when uncertainty looms over our healthcare system due to federal actions that could affect millions of Americans, today’s Supreme Court decision is especially disheartening. It completely undermines the rights and well-being of Tennessee's transgender youth, and transgender youth across the country.

(TRANSLATION: It reduces the sexual availability of underage boys.)

"Gender-affirming healthcare is lifesaving.

(TRANSLATION: You son will commit suicide if we don’t take him from you and trans-form him.)

"Treatments like puberty blockers are safe and fully reversible.

(CLUE: This glib lie is the sales pitch to female teenage fad followers.)

"This decision strips away the freedoms and protections that trans Americans deserve—especially during Pride Month, when we should be reaffirming, not abandoning, our commitment to the rights of the LGBTQ+ community."

(TRANSLATION: The ‘right’ of gays to get your son.)

About Representative Adrian Tam:

Representative Adrian Tam is an openly LGBTQ+ member of the Hawai‘i House of Representatives. He serves as Co-Chair of the Legislature’s Equality Caucus and is a committed advocate for civil rights, equality, and the protection of marginalized communities.

(About President Donald J Trump:

He may get that third term.)
