The anti-second amendment non-profit Giffords Law Center, which supports increased gun control, released a ranking of the states with respect to the strength of their gun laws. The nonprofit analyzed every gun law in every state, and claimed that “the stronger the state’s gun laws, the lower the state’s gun death rate.”

The report ranks Hawai'i 7⃣th overall in the Nation for gun control law strength. 1⃣California, 2⃣New Jersey, 3⃣Connecticut, 4⃣New York, 5⃣Massachusetts, and 6⃣Illinois round out the other top seven.
