Kennedy will not be on Hawaii Ballot?
by Andrew Walden
Earlier this year Robert Kennedy’s ‘We The People’ Party certified for the Hawaii ballot—over the objection of the Hawaii Democratic Party. But last week, Kennedy dropped out of the Presidential race and endorsed Donald Trump.
The Kennedy campaign has subsequently approached several states seeking to remove itself from their November ballots.
We asked the Office of Elections about Kennedy’s ballot status in Hawaii. Here is the response from State Office of Elections, Chief Elections Officer Scott Nago:
“Pursuant to HRS §11-113(c)(1), the deadline for qualified political parties to submit their nominees for president and vice president is September 6, 2024. To date we have not received the names of the presidential or vice presidential candidate from We The People.”
The deadline and related material is posted on the Office of Elections website HERE and HERE.
