The deadlines for these four (4) positions in the First Circuit did not change.

Please note that every judge of a circuit court shall reside in the circuit for which the judge is appointed under Section 603-6 of the Hawai'i Revised Statues.

If you have previously submitted an application for a different and/or same judicial position after 17 November 2022, please call the JSC office (808-538-5200) and leave a message or submit an email to (judselect.comm@courts.hawaii.gov) to determine what form you will need to submit to apply for the vacant and/or anticipated vacant judicial position(s).

APPLICATIONS SHOULD BE MAILED BY REGULAR US MAIL (TRACKING IS OPTIONAL). 
DO NOT SEND YOUR APPLICATIONS VIA FED EX, UPS AND/OR CERTIFIED MAIL.  ANY MAIL REQUIRING A SIGNATURE MAY BE SENT BACK AND YOU RUN THE RISK OF MISSING THE DEADLINE.
