Zeihan returns with new video about Jones Act reform

Geopolitical expert and best-selling author Peter Zeihan has produced another short video about the Jones Act — the 1920 federal law that restricts shipping competition between U.S. ports and has crippled America's maritime industry.

In the video, titled "Amend the Jones Act to revitalize U.S. waterways," Zeihan remarks: “If you’re looking for a quick and easy way to stimulate economic growth in Wisconsin, New York, Illinois, anywhere in New England, anywhere in the South, anywhere in the Midwest, [the Jones Act] is the low-hanging fruit. All we have to do is get out of our own way.”
