By News Release @ 9:22 PM :: 2506 Views :: Republican Party

Dear Hawaii Republican Party Members,    Sept 17, 2023

I hope this letter finds you in good health and high spirits. It is with great honor that I address you today as the newly elected State Chair of the Hawaii Republican Party. I am truly grateful for your trust and support, and I am excited about the journey that lies ahead of us as we work together to strengthen our party and make a positive difference in our beloved state.

As we embark on this new chapter, I am committed to fostering an inclusive and collaborative environment within our party. Our diversity of backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives is our greatest strength. It is through the respectful exchange of ideas that we can find innovative solutions to the challenges facing our state. I encourage all members to actively participate, engage in constructive dialogue, and contribute their unique talents to our collective efforts.

Together, we will focus on four key pillars that will guide our party's actions and initiatives:

1. Building Strong Relationships: We will strengthen our ties with Republican elected officials, community leaders, and grassroots organizations across the state. By forging meaningful connections and working collaboratively, we can amplify our impact and effectively advocate for our shared values.

2. Expanding Outreach: We will actively engage with several communities in Hawaii, reaching out to individuals from diverse backgrounds who share our principles and beliefs. We will be a party that listens, understands, and engages with voters from all walks of life, demonstrating how Republican policies can improve their lives and our state as a whole.

3. Empowering Grassroots Activism: We recognize that the strength of our party lies in the dedication and passion of our grassroots activists. We will provide the  resources, training, and support to empower our members  and volunteers, enabling them to make a meaningful difference in their communities and helping to identify and cultivate the next generation of Republican leaders.

4. Communicating Our Message: We will enhance our communication efforts to effectively convey our principles, values, and policy ideas to the people of Hawaii. By utilizing modern platforms and innovative strategies, we will work harder so that our message resonates with voters, dispelling misconceptions and highlighting the positive impact Republican policies can have on their lives.

In the days and months ahead, I will be reaching out to listen to your thoughts, ideas, and concerns. Your input is invaluable, and I am committed to making our party a space where your voices are heard and respected. With that being said, we need to pull together. We have many challenges to face as the party was left in a debt situation of over $60,000. We will look into this with an audit. But in the mean time, we need everyone to assist us in recovery.

We are planning for fundraisers, the Presidential Caucus, the Grow Program, Candidate Training, Community service, Coalitions and unity, and I will be releasing a program called “Project 2023” that everyone can participate in to help us get back on track.  It’s a new beginning for all of us. It’s not about me, it’s about WE.  Remember, WE are all on the same team. Let’s all be the solution to the problem and not let the problem be the solution.

I would also ask, to remember that our common goal is to build a better future for Hawaii, guided by the principles of liberty, individual freedom, fiscal responsibility, and limited government. By working together, we can make a positive impact on the lives of our fellow citizens and create an environment where opportunity thrives for all.

Mahalo for entrusting me with the responsibility of leading our party. I am confident that with your support, dedication, and enthusiasm, we will make great strides and achieve success for the Hawaii Republican Party.

Yours sincerely,

Tamara McKay

In shadows cast by fleeting light,

Where unsung heroes dwell with might,

A tale unfolds, a story untold,

Of one who soared, yet remained in cold.

Amidst the noise, the clamor, the strife,

A figure stood, unseen, in life.

While others sought the spotlight's gleam,

This soul embraced the humblest dream.

Through crowded streets and bustling fray,

They toiled on, day after day,

A beacon of selflessness, pure and true,

With heart aflame, their purpose grew.

Their actions whispered, soft and kind,

A gentle touch to heal the blind,

They did not seek the laurels of fame,

But rather, sought to quell hearts aflame.

In every corner, their presence graced,

A tender smile, a warm embrace,

They saw the struggle, the pain, the fears,

And wiped away the veil of tears.

Yet in this tale of the unsung hero,

Lies a lesson profound, we ought to know,

For if we cease to weigh worth by acclaim,

More wonders await and distraction have no fame.

For when we cease to worry who's revered,

And focus instead on what's endeared,

A symphony of passion shall arise,

Unleashing potential beneath the skies.

Let's cast aside the need for fame,

And recognize greatness in each name,

For it's in unity, we find our might,

To conquer darkness, embrace the light.

So, sing the praises of the unsung,

And let their noble deeds be the reason we won,

Together we shall rise, united in glee,

When we set Gods humane race free.
