REGARDING CDC COVID-19 VACCINE RECOMMENDATION FOR CHILDREN

News Release from Aiona/Tupai Campaign, 10/20/2022

HONOLULU, October 20, 2022 – With a CDC advisory committee on Wednesday voting to recommend the COVID-19 vaccine to its list of vaccines for children 6-months and older, I know many parents are concerned that this recommendation can lead to schools mandating it.

​I want to be absolutely clear that under an Aiona/Tupa'i administration, we would not support a COVID-19 vaccine mandate for children.

As I have stated previously, getting a COVID-19 vaccine is a personal choice and parents should decide what is best for their children. -Duke Aiona
