TODAY THE TALK ENDS AND THE WORK BEGINS

From www.GOPHawaii.com

HONOLULU-- Dylan Nonaka, Executive Director of the Hawaii Republican Party, issued the following statement this afternoon regarding Governor Neil Abercrombie's inauguration and first day as governor:

"Many promises and commitments were made during the  gubernatorial campaign.  As Governor Abercrombie takes office today, we now get to see whether Governor Abercrombie keeps or breaks those promises.

"We at the Hawaii Republican Party have consistently said you cannot honestly promise to expand and fully fund government programs and end public worker furloughs without raising taxes on Hawaii’s families and small businesses.

"Today the talk ends and the work begins.  We will hold the Governor accountable for these commitments.  The people of Hawaii can count on us to keep a watchful eye and if necessary provide reminders from time to time on what was said and what gets done."
