Duke and Lynn Launch New Radio Spot

HONOLULU - Duke Aiona and Lynn Finnegan today launched a new radio ad, "Twice," to hold accountable their opponent for trying to bring Washington-style politics to Hawai‘i and highlight recent endorsements, such as the Hawai‘i Tribune-Herald, Maui News, Japanese Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Hawai‘i, Maui Chamber of Commerce and Hawai‘i Island Contractors' Association.

The radio spot can be accessed online at www.AionaFinnegan.com/radio/twice.

The following is a transcript of the 60-second radio ad, "Twice."

Voice Over: Tired of Neil Abercrombie’s attacks? You’re not alone. After his 20 years of deficit spending in Washington, the people of Hawai‘i want a new direction. That’s why so many people have expressed concern about Abercrombie.

Even the Hawai‘i Tribune-Herald said this: "We fear Abercrombie’s left-leaning nature will result in more taxes, fewer jobs and bigger government."

And they went on to endorse… Duke Aiona for Governor.

And the support continues to build for Duke Aiona.

In fact, only Duke Aiona was endorsed by the Hilo Japanese Chamber of Commerce and the Hawai‘i Island Contractors.

And when the Maui News endorsed Duke Aiona, they said he quote “realizes that a massive expansion of government is just the wrong medicine for this economy.”

As for Neil Abercrombie, the Maui News simply called his plan… scary.
