Hawai‘i Tribune-Herald Endorses Duke Aiona and Lynn Finnegan
HONOLULU - Duke Aiona today issued the following statement regarding the Hawai‘i Tribune-Herald's endorsement of the Aiona-Finnegan Campaign.
"The Hawai‘i Tribune-Herald's endorsement is a big boost for our campaign, and represents the tremendous grassroots support we're seeing on the Big Island.
"My family is from the Big Island, and it means a lot to me to get their support.
"The people of Hawai‘i are tired of my opponent's 20-year Washington record of big spending, big government and higher taxes. It's time for a new direction forward.
"This campaign is about providing balanced, honest and fiscally responsible leadership for real solutions that will benefit all of Hawai‘i.
