In FY 2021 OHA paid $264,387.80 paid to its’ LLCs: $205,420.80 to Hi’ilei Aloha and $58,967.00 to Ho’okipaipai, LLC.
Where is that money going?
In response to a UIPA request from Hawai’i Free Press, OHA LLCs handed over 2019-21 check registers and financial statements in PDF format:

--$286,318.22 spent overall.
--$15,397.97 to Mona Bernardino in four checks all dated September 6, 2019
--several checks paid directly to named individuals.

Money Trail
--The $58,967.00 OHA gave to Ho’okipaipai in FY2020-21 is only $686.28 less than the $59,653.28 Ho’okipaipai paid to ES&A, Bernardino and Hi’ilei Aloha.
--The $44,255.31 Ho’okipaipai and Hi’ipaka gave to Hi’ilei Aloha LLC is only $1,200.37 more than the $43,054.94 Hi’ilei Aloha paid to ES&A and Bernardino.
