DUKE AND LYNN LAUNCH TV AD FOCUSING ON SMALL BUSINESSES

From www.AionaFinnegan.com

HONOLULU – Duke Aiona and Lynn Finnegan today announced the launch of their latest television ad, “Back,” which focuses on Hawai‘i's small businesses. The 30-second spot consists of various cuts from a talk story hosted by Duke Aiona.

“Government doesn’t create the jobs that fuel our economy over the long term, but as Governor, I can make it easier for those who do,” said Duke Aiona.

“Hawai‘i's working families and small businesses already suffer from one of the highest overall tax rates in the nation,” said Lynn Finnegan. “Duke and I oppose tax increases, and we'll encourage a business-friendly environment.”

The latest TV ad can be viewed online at www.youtube.com/user/DukeAiona.

Following is a transcript of Duke Aiona and Lynn Finnegan's latest television ad, "Back."

Duke Aiona: You cannot see what's going on with Hawai‘i’s economy sitting in your office all day.

You have to get out and talk story with Hawai‘i’s working families.

That’s why I met with 120 businesses over 100 days. I listened to their input.

And these entrepreneurs representing our islands have helped me shape a plan to create new jobs and strengthen our economy. Real solutions, not rhetoric.

Voice Over: Duke Aiona and Lynn Finnegan. Real solutions... for all of Hawai‘i.
