LIVE IN ONE PLACE, REPRESENT ANOTHER

From www.GOPHawaii.com

Today is the last day to register to vote for the General Election.  Colleen Hanabusa will be unable, yet again, to register to vote in the race she is running in.

As thousands of voters in Hawaii's First Congressional District are readying themselves to cast votes in the General Election, one of the main candidates will be unable to cast a vote for herself. Voters should ask, why is Colleen Hanabusa running for a Congressional seat that represents an area she doesn't live in?

Voters have a clear choice in this race.  On the one hand, they can vote for a candidate who lives outside the district and has failed twice in her effort to represent Hawaii’s other congressional district.

Or they can vote for a U.S. Rep. Charles Djou, who has represented parts of the First Congressional District in elected office for eight years as a Honolulu City Councilman and, for over the past 120 days, has fought for fiscal responsibility and government accountability as its U.S. Representative in Congress.
