Duke and Lynn Launch New Web Series Video 

HONOLULU - Duke Aiona and Lynn Finnegan today launched the second in a series of videos they are sharing online to discuss real solutions for all of Hawai‘i. The second spot, "Fuel," focuses on small businesses, which fuel Hawai‘i's economy.

The 30-second web video consists of time-lapse driving sequences, seeing the islands through Duke Aiona's perspective as we hear his thoughts.

Duke and Lynn launched the first video in the web series, "Piston," on Sunday. More videos will be launched in the weeks leading up to Election Day.

The following is a transcript of Duke Aiona and Lynn Finnegan's second web video, "Fuel."

Duke Aiona (as voice over): The economy…to me, it’s not about numbers; it’s about people. 

Sometimes we forget where jobs come from.

It’s not the government. It’s small businesses that hire people, so they can support their families.

So instead of making it harder for businesses to grow, we ought to make it easier. 

Government can’t create real jobs. But, as Governor, I can make it easier for those who do.
