KAHELE ACCEPTING APPROPRIATIONS REQUESTS FOR HAWAIʻI PROGRAMS

Honolulu, HI -- U.S. Congressman Kaialiʻi Kahele (HI-02) is accepting appropriations requests for Fiscal Year 2022. Appropriations requests may be submitted online by visiting kahele.house.gov. The submission deadline for appropriations requests is March 1, 2021.

“As your Member of Congress, I am committed to developing relationships across our islands to work on behalf of our community,” said Kahele. “One of my first duties as your Member of Congress will be to submit Fiscal Year 2022 appropriations requests for programs that will benefit Hawaiʻi. Public input is critical as we work to ensure that Hawaiʻi’s priorities are heard in the U.S. House of Representatives.”

To assist with the appropriations request process, interested parties are invited to an appropriations webinar on Friday, February 19, 2021, from 1:30 p.m. – 2:30 p.m. HST. The webinar will explain the federal appropriations process and how to submit an appropriations form to the office of Congressman Kahele. Pre-registration for the webinar is required.
