Hawaii Muslims cancel big September 11 feast, move it to September 11 Julian instead

Today’s Star-Advertiser article, Islamic festival delayed: A feast will be moved to Sept. 24 in deference to commemorations of the 9/11 attacks reports:

(Muslim Association of Hawaii President Hakim Ouansafi) said the Eid al Fitr ("the breaking of the fast") festival -- celebrating the end of the monthlong Ramadan -- would normally fall on Sept. 11, but it will be pushed back to Sept. 24, which coincides with Islam Day in Hawaii.

WRONG.  There is no “Islam Day” in Hawaii for 2010.  Islam Day was a one-time only event which the leaders of the Muslim Association of Hawaii tricked Hawaii’s idiot legislators into recognizing on Sept 24, 2009 which was Sept 11, 2009 in the Julian calendar.  MAH leaders did this by lying about the foundation date of their own religion.

Secondly, Eid al-Fitr—the first day of the Islamic month of Shawwal--was celebrated by Muslims on September 10, 2010, not September 11th.

The real “Islam Day” signifies the birth of Mohammad, the death of Mohammad, and the founding of Islam with Mohammad's arrival in Medina on September 24, 622 JULIAN -- which was also 12th Rabi ul-awwal in the first year of what is now the Islamic lunar calendar.  The real “Islam Day” is celebrated by Muslims each Islamic year on 12th Rabi ul awwal which this year corresponded to February 26, 2010.

SA: The Muslim Association's decision to delay its festival is "a wonderful gesture," said Sister Joan Chatfield, a longtime board member of the Interfaith Alliance Hawaii and the All Believers Network, which promote the commonality among religions.

Every terrorist movement must have its political wing.  And it is always useful for them to have some “interfaith” person telling of how wonderful that political wing is.  Some people somewhere may actually give credence to the implied authority carried by such persons and the media outlets which trumpet them.  But not many.

Here are a few lines from the article and their translation:

"He (Ouansafi) is being very sensitive by moving the date," she said. "Hawaii has a remarkable tradition of religious harmony. ... By virtue of talk-story, we've resolved a number of issues.  We really know the people we talk about

Translation: “We are enlightened, conscious, and progressive.  We are smarter than you are.”

The people who are upset about (the mosque) may have never bumped into a real, live Muslim, and they are captive to prejudice."

Translation: “You are ignorant and bigoted.  In my religion, you are the devil.  We are the angels and the pure and innocent Muslims are under our protection from you ignorant bigoted devils.”

(And this is coming from somebody who STILL doesn’t know that she’s been suckered into celebrating a fake “Islam Day” on September 24 Gregorian / Sept 11 Julian instead of 12th Rabi ul-awwal.)

"Hitler thought he was doing the right thing, right out of the New Testament.”

Translation: “See, Hitler was a Christian just like you.  You Christians are fascists.  And I’m a nun.”

“We live in an area where we have free speech, but we're not allowed to yell 'fire' in a theater, either."

Translation: “The Islamists must be allowed to do their thing and and your opposition to it must be censored.”

Meanwhile the Islamists are laughing.  Hawaii Islam Day signified the political Islamists’ ability to trick the weak and decadent infidels into celebrating Islam on September 11th Julian.  And to them that pathetic sleight-of-hand is a significant victory.

Political Islamism is achieving what terrorist Islamism did not.  But that isn’t much.  All they are getting are the usual useless idiots.  And they are getting fewer of them than the Soviets did.  This means that political Islamism is even less effective than political atheism.
