HawaiiFreePress.com is enjoying strong readership growth--74% growth over the last 12 months. 

Website analytics for www.HawaiiFreePress.com from September 1, 2009 through August 31, 2010 show a big readership spike in December, 2009 which relates to two days at the end of that month during which www.DrudgeReport.com linked to an HawaiiFreePress.com article.  The next spike in readership -- 86% of the Drudge month page view count -- peaks in May, 2010 as Charles Djou defeated Democrats Ed Case and Colleen Hanabusa in the Hawaii CD 1 Special Election.  In May the average unique visitor looked at 7.2 pages. 

The 111,000 unique visitors Drudge brought to our site in December were mostly from outside of Hawaii.  But for all other months, the visitor counts consist overwhelmingly of Hawaii residents.  In August, 2010, the average unique visitor came back 1.7 times and viewed a total of 4.8 pages.  We averaged 1,566 visitors per day and 925 daily unique visitors.
