The Board of Hawaii Family Forum is happy to announce that Allen Cardines, Jr., Sr. Pastor of Hope Chapel Nanakuli will be the Executive Director of the Hawaii Family Forum effective September 1, 2010. Pastor Allen will remain in his pastoral role as he serves in this new capacity. Allen was responsible for organizing the volunteers at the 2010 iVote rally at the Capitol as well as organizing the neighbor island pastors and churches in the HB444 campaign. He is a leader in our community and we are extremely blessed to have him take this key position.
I know that we can count on all of you to give him and Hawaii Family Forum your continuing support. As we proceed with the iVote campaign in this crucial election year, we can easily recognize that it is for such a time as this that the Christian community must remain unified, diligent and effective.
Mahalo in Christ,
Francis Oda, Chairman, Hawaii Family Forum

Dennis Arakaki, who served as the Executive Director of the Hawaii Family Forum, has stepped down from this position. Dennis led the organization during the critical challenge of HB444 and served as liaison to churches, Christian leaders and the larger community. On behalf of the Christian community, we want to thank Dennis for standing in the gap “for such a time as this”. His efforts have been a blessing to our community.
Sincerely,
Francis Oda, Chair of Hawaii Family Forum
