Hawai‘i COVID-19 Cases
News Release from Hawaii DoH, September 5, 2020
On 9/5/2020, the Hawai‘i Department of Health reported 221 new positive cases. There are 5 new cases on Maui, 24 on Hawai‘i Island, 191 on O‘ahu, and 1 case is out of state, for a cumulative total of 9,693 cases statewide (reported since 2/28/2020). A previous case was removed due to updated lab information.
A total of 229,796 individuals have been tested in the state. (8,405 new tests)
221 / 8405 = 2.6% positive (another low positive percentage as surge test results come in)

(The cases that have died and one case that has left the jurisdiction have been removed from these counts).
