Hawai‘i COVID-19 Cases
News Release from Hawaii DoH, May 3, 2020
On 5/3/2020, the Hawai‘i Department of Health reported 2 new positive cases (1 on O'ahu and 1 on Hawai'i) for a cumulative total of 620 cases statewide (reported since 2/28/2020). Two earlier duplicated cases have been removed from the cumulative data.
There was 1 death reported on Maui for a cumulative total of 17.
A total of 32,982 individuals have been tested in the state. (1,825 new tests)

SA: Hawaii sees 2 new cases of COVID-19 as coronavirus-related death toll rises to 17
MN: The Department reports the 17th death is a woman, over the age of 60, with underlying medical conditions. She had been in the hospital at Maui Memorial Medical Center since late February. Her infection occurred in mid-April.
