Request for Proposals: Pohnpei State Hemodialysis Project

1. General

The Department of Health and Social Affairs (DHSA) of the FSM National Government (hereinafter referred to as “government”) hereby solicits bid from interested parties (hereinafter referred to as “applicants”) to carry out a time-sensitive project and to complete all the objectives in the amount of time given. Preference will be given to applicant who demonstrates the ability to carry out all the objectives in the given time and provides most cost-effective budget.

2. Eligibility

A company that is a certified supplier or distributor of medical equipment, specifically, hemodialysis machines and dialysis supplies. The company should be able to provide the hemodialysis machines and dialysis supplies and be able to ship them directly to Pohnpei, Federated States of Micronesia. The company should also be certified to do the installation of the machines and provide technical assistance in training hospital staff on operation and maintenance of the machines.

3. Scope of Work

A. A package proposal to include the total cost for five (5) dialysis machines, cost for all the needed dialysis supplies, shipping, installation and setup cost, and technical assistance cost.
