Sen. Hirono: If Conservatives Don’t Want Content Removed From Social Media ‘They Shouldn’t Post Lies’

“If conservatives have had their content removed maybe they should look at the content of the content that they're posting,” Sen. Mazie Hirono (D-Hawaii) said Wednesday.
During Wednesday’s Senate Judiciary subcommittee hearing on technological censorship, Hirono expressed her disbelief that social media giants were censoring conservatives.
“Maybe they shouldn't post lies about Planned Parenthood selling baby body parts. Maybe they shouldn't inflame religious tensions by misrepresenting the tenets of one of the world's major religions,” she said.
Of course, Hirono doesn’t mention that a congressional select investigative panel concluded in 2016 that contracts existed between StemExpress and Planned Parenthood for fetal tissue and that payments were made.
Perhaps that information never made it onto social media - so she never saw it.
