Hawai`i Free Press assists four Big Island mayoral candidates with some suggestions for new campaign slogans:
Stacey Higa
Slogan:  “She’s lying! They’re all lying!”
Alt slogan:  “As a councilman my sexual advances were worth $272,000.  Think of what they will be worth as mayor!””
Lorraine Inouye
Slogan:  “In my last session of the Senate, I helped propose closing schools on 1/3 of the Big Island.  I blocked ethics legislation in hopes of winning HGEA support.  Just imagine what I could do as mayor!”
Billy Kenoi
Slogan:  “Yes I did help an underworld murderer by speaking at his fundraiser.  So what?”
Alt slogan: “As an assistant to Mayor Kim I led the fight against the coqui frog and against ice—just don’t ask me about results.” 
Alt slogan:  “Oh yeah?  Meet me at Shooters and we’ll see about that!”
Angel Pilago
Slogan:  “Two, three, many, Hokulias!”
Alt slogan:  “Instead of using helicopters to harass those poor little drug dealers we should use taxpayer funds to buy them some oceanfront land at Punalu`u!”
