Aloha friends,
The Democratic establishment hates it when outsiders challenge the status quo. Less than a week into this campaign, former DNC Chairman Howard Dean is already attacking Tulsi on CNN saying: "Tulsi Gabbard. I don't think she knows what she's doing and I don't think she ... is qualified. She's not qualified."
We’re calling BS. There is no Presidential candidate more committed than Tulsi Gabbard in leading our country to peace and prosperity in an era of endless counterproductive regime change wars. Tulsi knows the true cost of war because she’s seen it first hand. She’s our leading voice in Congress calling for an end to America’s interventionist wars that have cost our nation trillions of dollars, lost thousands of lives, and created mass human suffering and devastation. Instead of lining the pockets of war-addicted neocons, Tulsi wants to invest that money at home in communities that lack access to clean water, healthcare, services, and infrastructure.
The corporate media will keep giving party insiders like Dean a platform to attack Tulsi and drive up their ratings, but we don’t have to stay quiet.
Company men like Dean don’t know what to do with a candidate who puts people first, and doesn’t just toe the party line. We must stay strong in the face of establishment attacks, which have only just began. Will you help make sure our campaign to unite our divided country has the resources to fight back, bypass the corporate media, and talk about ending regime change war with the American people directly?
…
Dean’s attacks lead to the conversation Tulsi wants our nation to have: How do we keep our nation out of regime change wars and preserve the lives of our service members? The trillions of dollars we spend on these wars is the single most important issue tying domestic and foreign policy together. We must end our costly, interventionist policies, and instead invest in rebuilding our communities right here at home. We can't afford to do both.
Regime change wars make the world less safe, not more. We must not repeat the mistakes of Iraq, Libya, Syria*, and too many other interventions to count.
Make a $5 contribution to our campaign so that we can tell the American people the truth about our counterproductive regime change policies and fight back against attacks from the Democratic establishment.
Thank you for your support, and look out for more from Tulsi on these issues in the weeks to come.
Aloha,
Team Tulsi
