Things you need to know about the Hawaii General Election

From Hawaii Family Advocates, October 15, 2018

On November 6, 2018, Hawai'i will vote.

Even if you vote via absentee ballot, or via walk-in, your voice is going to either change the course of public policy in Hawai'i, or keep it status quo.  The choice is yours.

In order to help you cast your vote, Hawaii Family Advocates, with the help of local attorney Jim Hochberg (past President & CEO of HFA), has developed some resources to help you make your decision.

First and foremost, make sure you are registered to vote.  If you need to register, you can do so online by clicking here.

HFA SCORECARD:

If you are already registered, you need to make an educated choice about who you want to represent you.    Do you want to know how your legislator voted on three key issues like, the bully bill (the one that would have forced pro-life pregnancy centers to post information about abortion), the therapy ban bill (the bill that silences Christian counselors when someone who has UNWANTED same-sex attraction shows up for therapy) and assisted suicide (the get out jail free card for doctors)?  Click here for the 2017-2018 scorecard.

CONSTITUTIONAL QUESTIONS:

Are you ready to cast your vote on the Constitutional Amendment questions?  Here are links to resources to help you understand why you need to:

Finally, make sure you take a moment to pray for the elections and all the candidates. Let this election be the one that changes the course of public policy in Hawai'i.
