DONATION TO GRASSROOT INSTITUTE OF HAWAII
From Conservative Forum of Hawaii
Dear Forum: 20 May, 2018
This will be the last email you receive from us.
Many of you were our past supporters, others just curious, others more interested in keeping an eye on their philosophical opponents. Anyone who emailed us back and wanted OFF our email list was immediately obliged, with apologies for the unwanted intrusion.
We haven’t done much in the last 4 years, having lost our venue at the Naniloa Hotel, and then personally burning out at the leadership level after 2 years of solid effort.
We punched above our weight in public exposure and hopefully did some good in spreading the Conservative gospel of freedom and liberty as Americans in Hawaii . We never finalized getting formal IRS 501C(3) non-profit status, in part due to Obama IRS administration illegal anti-conservative abuse of power and in part due to our own inefficiencies. Above all, we very much regret not being better stewards in nurturing a leadership structure that could carry this effort on indefinitely.
At that we failed.
Our apologies.
There is a Big Island big need that is now unfilled.
We are now formally transitioning from quiescence to permanent digital suspended animation, putting the Conservative Forum for Hawaii into the e-version of cryopreserved mothballs. The web site will disappear into an inactive archive, but could be resurrected from the dead again if energetic souls wished to at a future date.
We have donated all our residual funds ($600+) to the Grassroot Institute of Hawaii, which is indeed carrying on the gospel of liberty as we approve it. You may recall we had several Forums where their leadership came and addressed us, on their Annual Hawaii Porkbook of government waste, on their legislative actions, on the cruel punishments of Jones Act, and on the Advancement of native Hawaiian and all residents of the Aloha state by their CEO Dr. Keli’i Akina, who is now also an OHA board member.
We encourage you all to support the Grassroot Institute of Hawaii in all their efforts.
Here is their webpage link: http://www.grassrootinstitute.org
And they can be contacted here: info@grassrootinstitute.org
Perhaps you could invite them, have them give presentations locally?
They may contact you via our old email list, and if you wish to be dropped from their outreach, then they will immediately honor your request, just as we did previously.
Until we meet again, cherish your liberty !
Aloha & out
